Horizon T101 Treadmill
- Compact footprint doesn’t take up much space when open
- Folding design so you can fold up the T101 when you’re done with it
- 10% Incline range offers lots of hill variables
- 10mph max speed is plenty fast for most runners and walkers
- Lightweight but still supports a 300lb weight capacity
- Tablet holder on console allows you to watch, read or listen to your device while working out
- Multiple workout metrics on the display keep track of your speed, calories, etc.
- Preset Incline and Speed buttons make it so you can quickly move between speeds and incline levels
- 3-Zone Cushioning reduces spine and joint impact
-
Subscription Options
- No subscription options on the T101, so no need for WiFi or internet connection to use the preloaded programs
-
Noise Level
- The T101 is surprisingly quiet, with the motor and belt making very little noise and foot noise is mitigated by the gentle deck absorption
-
Storage / Folding
- The T101 will fold up easily and locks in place when not in use, reducing the amount of dedicated floor space you need for your treadmill
-
Deck
- 3-Zone Variable Response cushioning in the deck reduces joint impact
- 20” wide running deck, 55” long
- 1.4mm silicone belt and 46mm rollers
-
Motor
- 2.5HP motor, inclines the deck and adjusts speed smoothly
-
Console/Controls
- Three digital number boxes that display different metrics
- Five buttons for the programs
- Fan in the console, directly beneath the screen and controls
- Two large water bottle cups on either side of the console and a pocket on the front to set keys or a phone, etc.
- EKG grips on the front horizontal bar
- Tablet shelf centered in the console
- Two speakers along the bottom of the console to sync with most Bluetooth devices

- Decent warranty
- Good variety in locations and intensity in workouts
- Bluetooth headphones feature
- Can connect to Android OS
- Can’t use treadmill data as proof of worked out
- Can connect to FireTV
- Constant updates and need for excellent WiFi
- Incline/decline can break after light use
- Poor customer service
-
Sole F80
- Solid machine, quiet & gets the job done
- Class action suit against Nordictrack soon
- Good cushioning
- Can purchase from local Dicks Sporting Goods
Source: "Sole F63 vs NordicTrack EXP 7i Treadmill" (from reddit, r/treadmills)
-
Sole F63
- low speed E2 error is common but can be caused by worn out belt and deck, extremely dry belt and deck, or high belt tension
- good walking treadmill for everyone, a good jogging treadmill for lots of people, and a good running treadmill only for lighter users
- sturdy for the price and good value if you can stay on top of the maintenance
- Sole F63 is $1199 plus $99 shipping to your driveway with no sales tax, with the optional $299 White Glove Assembly
-
NordicTrack
- terrible reputation for reliability and customer service
- gamble - won’t even talk to dealer for warranty claims
- if you can’t live without something unique NordicTrack offers - like iFit or the extreme elevation of their incline trainers
- not as sturdy for heavy jogging/running
-
LifeSpan
- nice with better features on some products, but a bit less sturdy for heavy jogging/running
