hindi serial navel scenes
I conducted research on the topic of Hindi serial navel scenes by examining five different sources: a Reddit discussion about Indian TV serials (1), a Reddit discussion about navel fetishism in Indian films (2), a Reddit discussion about the anime community (3), an India Today article about Bollywood's top 10 navels (4), and an IMDb page for a TV series called "Nayi Naveli" (5). While some of these sources provided information related to the query, others were less relevant. The Reddit discussions (1, 2) were the most relevant to the query, while the IMDb page (5) had limited information, and the other sources (3, 4) were tangentially related. My research findings are moderately uncertain due to the limited amount of information available on the specific topic of Hindi serial navel scenes.

"Why are Indian TV serials so pathetic?"
-
In the Reddit post, a user asks “Why are Indian TV serials so pathetic?” and lists some of the problems with these daily soaps:
- Most serials are made with a complete story beforehand with predetermined twists and definite ends, but the same is not the case with Hindi TV serials, which change the story in accordance with the fluctuating TRPs.
- Hindi TV serials get more time slot than required. On an average they get 150 minutes in a week rather than 30-60 minutes and hence starts the ‘crap-filling.’
- The long shots to capture everyone’s facial expression present in the scene is unnecessary, irritating and ridiculous.
- They spend so much money on sets (especially in serials about mythology and Indian ‘Rajas’), make-up, and dresses but the audience, cult followers of one country, is small (some popular serials sometimes percolate to other countries as well but the earnings are comparatively so low that we can count them out) whereas the English serials get a worldwide audience.
- A TV serial will go on every week for years to come until the TRPs are below par after which it’ll be replaced by another.
-
Another Reddit user, who has a friend who is an actor in Indian TV, adds some more points:
- Superfast Turnover- They have to produce on average 200+ episodes a year, which sacrifices quality for quantity. The writing is adjusted according to budget issues, so if one of the sets is damaged and the weekly budget has been used up, then the episode is changed at the last minute to be picturized on a different set, whether it makes sense in terms of the larger story or not.
- Behind-camera talent is ultra-disposable: The T.V. industry in general has no respect for people like the writers/directors/cinematographers/editors etc. The financiers have all the power, and if you don’t do something the way they want it, then you’re out. There is absolutely no room for experimentation. Similarly, writers are expected to write ‘dhamakedar dialogues’ only, the plotlines have been handed down by the bosses, and you just have to fill in the blanks. Also, don’t expect to get credit for your work all the time, be thankful that you’re getting a salary in the first place.
- On-screen talent don’t give a fuck- A huge number of actors hired are not hired for their acting
